| This group is dedicated to everyone who creates surrealistic artworks. You can submit work of every kind here - from digital works to poetry and photography - any media you want. To join the group just click on the "join" button at the top of this page.  What IS surreal?"Surreal in general means bizarre or dreamlike." Surrealist works feature the element of surprise, extraordinary composition or interpretation of commonly known ideas and thigs" Take Dali or Ernst or Beksiński for instead. What is NOT surreal?All kinds of dwarfs, elves, vampires and dragons (at least as the main theme) - all of those are are more fantasy than surreal. When you change your holiday photo with a photoshop filter it still doesn't become (in most cases) a surrealist piece. Still, there's no harm if you try to submit a work and hope it'll be accepted  How to add works?:*first, you have to become a member - just click "join group" *secondly, submit your work clicking on "contribute art" *pick right folder for your work!!! *finally, you wait for the aproval of the administrator. If your work fits the theme, it will be featured. Rules of submission 1. You may submit 1 work per week. 2. The work must contain credits and links to the stocks that you have used. 3. Your work have to fit the surreal theme. 4. Approval or disapproval is also dependant on the quality of the work, however the contibutors have right to reject a work without telling the reason 5.Your works will need 2 votes to be accepted! We don't accept WIPs or scraps.You can suggest 3 works a day to group faves! |
